Florian Fayolle is an experienced airline captain specializing in Airbus aircraft, currently qualified on the A320, A330, and A350. With a career defined by precision, discipline, and a deep passion for aviation, he brings extensive expertise across both military and commercial operations.

Florian began his academic journey at Lycée Masséna before pursuing intensive preparatory classes (Math Sup and Math Spé) in Nice. He then joined the French Air Force, where he served as a pilot, developing advanced flying skills, strong leadership, and the ability to operate in high-pressure environments.

In 2012, Florian transitioned to civilian aviation, converting his licenses and beginning his airline career with Ryanair in 2013, flying Boeing aircraft. He later joined Norwegian Air Shuttle in 2018, where he continued operating Boeing aircraft on both short- and long-haul routes. In 2021, he moved to Eurowings, transitioning to Airbus operations and expanding his experience across European networks.

In 2026, Florian joined Virgin Atlantic , where he operates Airbus A350 aircraft on long-haul international routes.

Alongside his flying career, Florian is the CEO and founder of Fly Up, a business dedicated to pilot assessment preparation and specialized English language training for aviators. Under his leadership, Fly Up has also developed and launched Fly Up, a dedicated iOS app designed specifically for pilots to support their professional development, training, and assessment readiness.

Outside of aviation, he enjoys playing golf , padel , water and winter sport, maintaining a balanced approach to life both in and out of the air.
